Soper Creek

Today is my lucky day I guess. After 2-hour’s tireless casting then boom, fish on! I’m not quite sure if this is a rainbow trout because of its nearly triangular head. Two trouts on the pin! So glad I didn’t give up on centerpin.

This is a big moment for me. After 2 months when I bought the pin this is my very first time successfully landing a rainbow using the stiff 12.6 rod and the pin. So lucky I didn’t simply give up on trying.

This tiny sucker was my very first fish caught on the pin setup. Landing it gave me a whole lot of confidence on using the pin. I guess it was the bead that caught its attention first. Nice little beautiful fish lol.

Got this beautiful salmon, we decided to keep it and I made sure it had no eggs it spawned out great eating
