Def my PB brown. Rest of the outing was some landed chinnies. Lost a steelie on that first head shake 🫠

Carp fishing is often underestimated, but it can be incredibly enjoyable! To test which bait works best, I prepared four different mixtures: 1. Panko + jello 2. Bagel/Bread + jello 3. Commercial feed mix + jello 4. Oatmeal mix + jello However, I struggled to get the right water-to-jello ratio; the mixtures were either too thick or too hard. They didn't survive more than two casts, and some even fell off the hook with the slightest twitch. Frustrated, I ditched all of them and simply put two kernels of corn on the hook. Boom! Instantly hooked a humongous carp.

Thought I was snagged, but all of a sudden it ripped drag. Thats my PB nice 25pounder

Haven’t caught much lately but here’s a clip of a Chinook from 3 weeks ago that I lost due to tightening my drag too tight towards the end of the fight and got me caught under a branch.. This fight lasted approximately 7-10 minutes just as I thought he was done, he had lots more in him lol..
