The line twitched once, then peeled—fast. I set the hook and felt the unmistakable pull of a perch charging through the current. Quick turns, sudden dives, no time to think. Seconds later, it surfaced—glinting gold in the sunlight, wild and perfect. Another solid catch on the Holland River. #catchking

The water barely rippled before the hit came—sharp and sudden. I lifted the rod and out came a baby pumpkinseed, glowing like a jewel in the sun. Orange, teal, gold—every scale painted by nature’s finest brush. A quick catch, a quiet marvel. #catchking

A light tap, barely there—then the float vanished. I set the hook and felt a quick flutter on the line. Not much weight, but full of spirit. Up came a baby bluegill, flashing shades of sky and copper, fins flared like a fighter in the ring. Small, fast, fearless. Bluegigi made their mark. One more wild moment by the water. #catchking
