Limit for the day👌

Went later than I'd have liked, caught a couple of these little guys. Had to do a good bit of ice clearing to get a decent drift going. Still figuring out this winter thing, if anyone's got suggestions for east tribs I'm all ears!

It was a cold brisk morning (-5°C)with crazy SW winds (30-40km) developing later in the afternoon. Almost gave up but I managed to get a decent chromer in the start of the major. Sometimes you never know with these fish.🤔🫡 🥷🎣

Broke some ice sheets and pushed them down creek in hopes to clear a spot I know they like to hold. Caught this little guy under some of it on light blue tied roe. Headed upstream and drifted along the ice sheets with the bait swinging along the edge / under, got 3 more good bites but lost em. Once you've dialed in staying warm, this is pretty great!

Nothing beats this cold snap other than a chrome November steelhead.😎❄️🎣
