Tiny bowfin on the nightcrawler, 6lb fluoro. Panfishing slowed down with the salmon running back and forth, 4ft from the bank. I also watched a seagull make 10 passes on a dead pumpkinseed before picking it up lol

Remedial panfishing on my 5wt. Nightcrawlers, 4x. Mostly working on my roll/double haul combo and a little spey casting; the panfish are just the icing on top. I am so burnt out on casting spoons for salmon, at least until this weekend.

Caught lots of perch today! Decided to keep the 3 largest I caught out of them all and tossed a few small ones back! 😋 First time catching and keeping 🎣

Caught this small bullhead that had an insane bite wound. Not sure if it was a pike or a gar that got into it but he's a survivor. I think that because he has two parrel lines of puncture wounds
