Lower Buckhorn Lake

Day 5 of vacation. Hot, hot, hot. Family decided it was a beach day. I stayed at the cottage for a me day. 😊. It was hot but the drinks were cold.🍺 After dinner we did get down to Deer Bay. The ladies out did the fellas. Marion with a LM and perch. Jenny with 2 LMB. All fish were released. Weather is not looking good for tomorrow. Calling for rain with thunderstorms in the area.

Day 4 of vacation. Another warm one. No one was too eager to get going. Another floatie day was in order followed by an ice cream run! If you're ever in the Buckhorn area check our Mariloos for some Kawartha ice cream. You get your moneys worth. We did get out fishing in the evening. Jenny got a dink to break her skunk. Another great sunset.

Day 3 of vacation. Another very warm day. Everyone decided they wanted a floatie day. Turned out to be a good idea. The kids went out in the evening and I fished off the dock. They said they got one, but no photo 🤔 I got a dink off the dock.

Day 2. Rain finally stopped and the grandson got 2 more rockies. We got out on the boat and all he wanted to do is practice his casting!😊 It gave me a chance to catch up to him. 5 dink Smallies. All on the Bass Pro Texas Smoke worm. Texas rigged.
