What an adventure on Labor Day! We chose to try Pigeon Lake for bass. Another amazing fishing trip with Danny Liu Danny He is not only the great angler but also the best friend! Happy to see he caught bass, perch and even walleye! Thanks again Danny!

My first walleye! It took a KVD 100 jerkbait, hit like a perch lol Third day trip on the yak, this time not alone. It turned into an unexpected adventure. We pushed our equipment and ourselves to the limit and traveled nearly 25kms! We started from a launch on the south side, where the shallow clear water revealed a couple of BIG bass. 1 had to be 6lbs. Unfortunately the clarity meant I saw the fish after they had already noticed me, even as I carefully scanned while slowly gliding forward. The number of boats fishing was pretty astounding. It's obviously a very well used resource. The amount of baitfish in the shallows was mindblowing. There were stretches where they were everywhere you look. We traveled north all the way to the bridge just to check it out, and we're only really able to find some willing small bass in an isolated reed patch. We severely underestimated the time required to head back and it took like 2~3 hours with our batteries dying and pedaling part of the way. The swarms of mosquitoes at the end chasing us into our cars was not fun x.x but the 10pm Wendy's meal was pretty satisfying. All in all an unforgettable trip!

Started off on 🔥🔥 during the minor bite, then slowed right down as soon as the barometric pressure increased. Good day, though. 2 keepers and lots of 14'ers!

Lunker stick with the chartreuse tip and a chartreuse jig head is working super well for me. Cast out slow jerk retrieve to let it sink slow. They usually bite it on the fall

This hog was my last cast that morning run and hit on a frog close to the edge of a rice weed bed. What fun it was landing her!
