Farewell Creek

Unlucky start with losing 3 bigger steelheads (1 hook snapped, 1 couldn’t land in my small net and 1 broke off) but ended the day with a decent sized chrome steely 🥹 Weather was really weird today with hail on and off 3 different occasions lol

Can some one tell me what this is?

Jokingly brought my ultra light rod with me while walking my puppy behind my home where a little un named creek is located. Didn’t think I would catch anything more than a creek chub but to my surprise a decent size bass was lurking in the glorified puddle. I have now named it Derek’s creek.
