Lake Scugog

I went fishing for about 5 hours but only caught one fish. I swear I tried literally everything but I guess the bite was just slow today. The good news is that this was actually my PB perch! It weighed exactly half a pound but was a lot shorter than some perch I've caught.

Usually I hate coming here on the weekends because of how crowded it can get fishing shoulder to shoulder. But I got a new pfluegar president reel and wanted to test it out. So I thought I'd just do some panfishing with some worms. Got there before sunset and saw something breach. I thought to myself, I got to catch this fish. Cast after cast and a couple of bluegills later BOOM 3 pounder on the line.

It was a short but nice day on the water. I caught 3 jumbo perch and 2 bass. I was gonna eat the perch but decided to just put them back. Number of bass this year: 8

👊!OI FIRST CRAPPIE!👊 The crappie was the first fish I caught while on the boat today. I ended up catching 3 or so rock bass, 6 yellow perch, and 2 bluegill. All of the fish put up a really good fight and tasted AMAZING!!!

We finally have the boat out!!! We went fishing wanting to catch bass but knew it was illegal, so we decided to fish for more legal fish. We went on the boat two times that day and I caught roughly 20 fish and they were mostly panfish. The first catfish I caught by jigging with this yellow grub and the first one was the biggest. The second one was a little smaller and I also caught it while jigging. Still gotta resist fishing for bass until June 20th. Otherwise, happy fishing everyone!

I was fishing with my friend and 16 fish that whole day
