Ganaraska River

So today I decided to check out the Ganaraska river for the first time ever I tried drifting some roe for awhile didn’t get anything so sure I threw a worm on and started drifting it and watched this big ole girl come and just slam it and I thought it was a steelhead until about 20 mins later a buddy let me know that’s no trout that’s a Coho caught it on a medium light rod!!!!😂😂

During our drive to the Ganny son and I made a bet on who’s gonna catch the first King. Sure enough 20 mins later he friggin caught his first of the season. Son-1 Dad-0… smh

This got to be my PB!!!! Tight lines everyone!!!! 🤪 it was safely put back in the river. lol

Fish On!! First one for this salmon run season…

1st time out and got a nice little brookie on second cast, then nothing, but had a big brown trout chase my lure into 3 inch of water near the shore, it near got my lure too, oh well, I know where he hides now, next time!
