Muddy Creek Pond

Today I tried to target some flathead catfish and while trying to catch sunfish for bait, I ended up landing three little rainbow trout. I did end up getting plenty of sunnies for bait, however, I was unsuccessful in catching a flathead. I also hooked a much bigger rainbow, but after wrapping me up in some stray line and a four foot jump out of the water, he popped off.

Caught my second ever Flathead today, he came in at 12-1/4lbs! Got him on a live bluegill.

Caught a fat little channel catfish today on a live shiner.

First ever Flathead Catfish at Yount Pond today. Weighed a whopping 17.15 lbs and was 36 inches long. Caught him on a live green sunfish.

Caught these two flatheads on live bluegills today biggest one was 16.8 pounds smaller one was 12.9.
