Caught my first stripers on top water today! My main target this morning was snakehead and I unfortunately missed a few small ones on my whopper plopper. I eventually found a school of stripers hitting the surface and threw my spook in their face and I couldn’t keep them off the hook! The feeding frenzy only lasted a couple minutes but I managed to land a few nice ones that put up some crazy fights on my medium light rod. I also managed to land a bunch of smallmouth and my first one on a frog.
