This was crazy. This 12.5lb carp slurped up my 1oz bass jig beneath the spillway. Just a few weeks ago I landed my first carp on artificial and to be honest, I never thought it’d happen again, especially with a lure this big! This thing gave me an incredible fight, and for a minute I thought I had a snakehead on, which is what I was targeting. Along with this extremely improbable catch, I landed a nice largemouth on the same bass jig.
