Marsh Creek Reservoir

Got out early today, two bass, both ~10", got a few sunfish, & perch, only one Crappie. It was a quiet morning before all the weekenders started to show up.

The Largemouth were biting too, but they were small. The biggest was 12" but most were ~8". Caught all these on the redheaded 1/4 jig with chartreuse & white twister tail. Yes, always with the Gulp green nibble on the hook.

Got two Crappie and lost two all about 7.5" Again on the red headed 1/4 oz jig with chartreuse & white twister tail.

They were all between 7" and 8.5", all caught on the red headed jig with chartreuse & white twister tail, with a gulp nibble on the hook.

Monday's catch by species. Start with the Sunfish, all between 4"-6". All caught on a red 1/4 jig head with chartruse & white twister tail.

The prize of the day, not based on the size, but at least I got one of the targeted species. :)

Found the Crappie honey hole and landed about a dozen, all between 6" to 11" only snap a picture of three from the lot.

Well, the fishing was slow yesterday, but then turned on around 1 PM when I started to catch. Posting each species separately.. 08/21/2025 - Corrected post, mistake the first picture was from 8/11/2025, so I deleted it.
