French Creek

No luck at the main lake, but the creek gave me my first bluegill of the year, and 2 good sized fallfish.

First catch while swimming a jig. Got a good look at him up close before he threw the hook. Largemouth about 1lb, he was jumping around the point on a dense flat of water lilies, so I just kept casting past that point and swimming it back. After several casts, I got the bite. I reeled him in to within a few feet where I could see him but, while adjusting my drag, he swam toward me and got loose right at my feet.
