Barnegat Inlet

Last catch. Part of the game fishing the barnegat jetty is the crazy amounts of snags and lost rigs you're going to encounter. I ran out of bank sinkers this way and called it a day.

No more crabs left for bait, so I went fluke fishing again with gulp curly tail grubs.

Lots of action, no keepers

Switched spots and caught the last catch of the day. Right after this, I hooked onto something big. It pulled so much drag that it spooled me, leading to my line breaking. Not sure what it was, but my best guess is it was a large cownose ray. Anyways, that monster of a fish ended today's fishing bender.

The day's fishing concluded with my smallest catch yet. It seemed the fish were getting progressively tinier with each reel-in.
