Sturgeon Lake

Caught this beautiful walleye last night me and my buddy caught about three lost two was very glad to get this beauty tho!!!!

2 big ones probably around 2 or 3 pounds the other two were probably around half a pound and a pound trolling is the way to go for walleye at around 99 to 103 feet

First of all, fishing on sturgeon lake is rough, but fun! We start at 9. This lake is full of heavy seaweed and most of the area is shallow. We spent 2 hours casting at the shallow area, which is totally not working. We kept nothing before we found an area with 7-9ft depth with less seaweed. Then thing started working. I got couples of perches first. I changed my bait to shad vib which similar colour to perch. I got perches more and this bass. I thought it is easy to fish after some reward. After that, I got no fishes anymore. At the very last moment, I watched a monster just right in front of me. My friend hooked a pike or musky which a greater than 1m. That fish jumped and cut the line with its teeth. This moment was blowing my mind. I never see a monster that close to me. I will remember forever. If you guys is looking toward to fish a monster. I advise you to come to this lake. Get well prepare on your gear. You will never know what fish you will see of your next cast. #CatchKing
