Recent Catches At Burd's Family Fishing Pond

After being skunked in fishing for several weeks, my friend approached me, hoping I could take him to a spot where he could catch some fish and regain his confidence. Although I consider myself quite skilled at fishing, I often find that my confidence in catching fish hovers around 50%, regardless of the location. There's always a chance we might come home empty-handed! Not wanting him to face another disappointing outing, I suggested that if he was willing to spend a little money, we could visit a fishing farm. There, we would be surrounded by plenty of fish and guaranteed catches. He enthusiastically agreed! So, that's exactly what we did today! Both he and his son were thrilled with the experience, and we all had a fantastic time! #CatchKing

This pond holds tons of trout! It's still a month away before the trout season opens in our local rivers, but we can't wait and we are itching to go out and catch some trout! So, we decided to return to this privately operated local fishing farm that isn't bound by the province's regulations. Here, we only need to pay for what we catch, and no fishing license is required! It's a beginner's paradise! Today, we caught many fish and had a blast. My son's skills have significantly improved under my supervision, which is awesome! Here are some rules for this place: 1. No catch and release, you keep all fish you hooked. 2. Entrance fee $5 person. Trout roughly $30 per fish. 3. You can bring your own rod or rent one for $5. 4. Worms are free. Cleaning fish is free.
