Columbia River

Pretty buck today, took an olive sculpin and booked it to the fast water.

Lost 1, 4 to the net on a beautiful walk along the river today. Found a little pocket and landed 3 on 3 casts.

Only fish of the day on a Hail Mary at the walk out.

This is a trout. It was in a river. I tricked it into biting a hook. I reeled it in. I scooped it into a net. I took a picture. I put the fish back into the water. It swam away.

3 to the net today including these two colored up fellas.

Lifted the jig into him and he swam right to the net. Easy peasy 😆

New personal Best from the Columbia. 5 hours in with no fish and right after it started raining This lazy bugger went for a snack. Swam right to shore too.

4 sore lips today, 3 made it to the net.
