Saugeye

Tough bite tonight. Only saugeye of the evening.

Last day of the trip. Found some structure, boat next to me took a 19 inch Saugeye. We caught and release the whole trip. Great lake for white bass this time of year. Like the 25hp lo.

#catchking Colorado State Record. I’ve been waiting to get the certificate until I could celebrate. After I caught it, I called Lance (Fishing with Lance) and sent him photos just to confirm what I had. Before I even told my father. I caught the big fish in the little lake. Bear Lake is 10 minutes from my house and I do fish it often. I’ve hooked some large ones before, but nothing like this one.

21” saugeye caught trolling a hand made crank bait.

It was pretty toasty and flat this morning. This channel cat was beat up , spawn must be in full swing. The Saugeye was the second real skinny one this summer. Found a school of Crappie caught a 9 inch that was deep hooked he went in the freezer.
