Jumped into a little river derby today fishing as a co-angler. My first time ever fishing the river and we caught tons of fish but only 2 keepers. Overall it was a really tough day for everyone it seemed as it didn’t take much over 6 1/2 pounds to win. I did the majority of my damage on the Ned rig. . . Grandson with a smaller flathead river is way up and muddy wipers are in hiding waiting for the river to clear up as always released unharmed

Had a good night on the river. Caught quite a few different species and found a pretty good blue along the way. He smoked that rod, had a heck of a time getting it out of the holder. Lost a big flathead or I could have gotten the grand slam. Can't complain though I had a lot of fun. Tight lines and stay safe out there. 💯🎣👍
