Missed the big catfish bites but did end up reeling in 7 blue cats last night. Been hitting the shallows trying to find the big one.

Got another channel cat this year catching more of them than I usually do. They provide a really good fight for there size. Can’t wait to get on a 10lb+ one.

Found a little perch spot & caught 4. Using them for bait but the catfish weren’t having them they never got hit.

Again ended up catching 6 fish. Had a few got aways including one probably 20pounder close to the boat. Did end up with one decent one. Didn’t matter which bait I was using as long as it was fresh.

Caught 6 fish all together last night. Found out why I normally don’t fish super shallow water. Took me about hour to figure out how to get out of the mud. I ended up having to heave my anchor as far as I could put boat in full reverse steer it back and forth while slowly pulling the anchor to try and get a deep bite.

Had a decent time night fishing ended up catching 6 fish including my first 30 pounder since January.

Caught six fish they are starting to bite a little better. Had a few missed hook ups also.
