Buffalo Wallow

Just a little baby at the State Park.

Been a while but finally got a chance to fish with my buddy Sam. Went out to a spot I’ve only been once before but had a lot of fun! Caught over 30 fish a piece most being baby bass and sunfish but I did manage two decent bass and a nice 5 pounder! Got him and the two decent ones on the 4D Baits swim jig in copper craw. Got most of our little fish on crickets and a lot on worms. Had a great time out there and I’m excited for the next trip!

Did a little multi species fishing on Thursday with a buddy of mine at a new spot. Crystal clear water and loaded with tiny bass. I did manage to sight fish my second biggest carp weighing in at 10lbs 2oz. Took a lot of work but felt good to get him to bite. Awesome fight on the ultralight too! Also sight fished a decent bass on a Texas rigged lunker log. They only have the 6in option but I was using the 5in but same color. Also got lots of tiny bass and sunfish on weightless live worms. Got a couple little catfish too. Saw a really nice bass right before we left but couldn’t get it to bite. I’ll be back for it though
