Awesome fight in the rain on the KastKing Verus spinning combo! #catchking

What started out as a short morning fishing trip turned into 12 hours of hopping from spot to spot catching whatever would bite with @cliff27274. Ended up fishing 4 different spots at which we landed carp, bass, a variety of sunfish, which later we used as catfish bait and got on a good channel cat bite. Caught everything on @kastkingusa setups and even got to do some sight fishing with the KastKing Flatrock polarized sunglasses.

Siblings wanted to play at the park so took the ultralight and got on some micro sunnies with the Cast Cray waxy

Carp are the only things willing to bite so far this year. Texas trout haven’t been very nice to me lol

Got a nice carp along with a couple smaller ones and a bullhead a couple weeks ago. The biggest one ties in length for the biggest I’ve caught out here but wasn’t as fat. Also didn’t have a scale because mine broke. Awesome fight on ultralight and 6lb line!

Little brother had a zoo class on Tuesday so I fished the small lake right next to it. Got on some decent carp. They were super skinny though. Definitely overpopulated. Still a lot of fun on ultralight gear!
