Lost Creek Lake

This one was too pretty not to share...and he turned out to be delicious too! 🤤

Ain't she a beaut! I'm thinking redear sunfish, but app is telling me green sunfish. Whatever it is colors must be popping due to spawn. Caught her with tiny jighead which you can see in her mouth.

First decent catch of the year...not much of a fight though as water temp still a bit low...will be grilling this slab up tonight for dinner!

After not getting any bites in deeper water of the neighborhood lake, I tried a few casts toward the shoreline and struck black crappie gold! This guy is one of the biggest and blackest I have ever caught (really setting up you comedians out there so have fun with that 😜)! Oh, and GO TIGERS!!! 😸🧡💪🏀💪🤘8️⃣

This slab was the highlight of my birthday. I caught her with a 2" white and black soft plastic Slab Reaper minnow. 🥳

A quick trip down to the lake with the fly rod today resulted in a bunch of bream at the end of my line and this little guy putting a smile on my face. 😁

Finally got one with top water fly and the target species too! Just not quite the size I was hoping for. 🕵️
