Broad River

Its been a while since I had a decent catch to share from my fly rod. I may have been cheating a bit by not using a fly, but I decided to get out there with one of my lucky lures and ended up catching my PB on the fly rod! 😁

Wasn’t expecting this on the other end of the line. They put up quite a fight tbh. Way more than the catfish I caught right before. For some reason I feel kind of privileged to have caught two of these in Columbia in two different rivers. Just didn’t think they were very common. Sky fishing from the PEAK bridge usually turns out to be an interesting time … every time 😎🥸

They say these fish have small mouths, but this is ridiculous! This little guy was the only catch of the day for me. 😮‍💨
