Had a wonderful day fishing the Juniata with guide, John Stragler. We caught over 30 smallies including one just short of 20”. As a bonus saw an active eagle’s nest.

I got a taste of some pre-spawn smallmouth fishing today on the Susquehanna. I arrived home last night for Easter and decided to head to the Susquehanna to target some smallmouth in warm weather. I managed to land two nice bass on the baby whale! I’m hoping New York isn’t too far behind and the bass will start migrating up the rivers soon, but there was still ice on the lake yesterday… Onto the trout tomorrow!

Crazy catch this evening 18 minute fight and hammered the nightcrawler like a boulder really tough not to let it cut the line but perfect hookset and a perfect night's fishing NEW PB
