Conestoga River

good day on the conestoga, this is the best of 2 that i caught

One managed to get this smaller in the kayak but lost several near it. Hooked a big one but he took me under a ledge that ripped the line. Fishing this section of the Conestoga is so interesting as the current changes every time the safe harbor dam opens some of the gates .

Only manage to catch one today on a different section of the lower Conestoga.

Got kayak out for smallmouths for the first time since knee surgery. Only had a hour to fish but caught 2 nice fish. Nothing like the fight of a healthy smallmouth.

Smallies are biting again!!!
