Sun came out today so you know I had to try again after yesterday’s blow up. Just caught the one bass but she ran hard stripping line. Then nothing, so I tried for bluegill and caught one! #517

Wow! The fall feed frenzy just began. It just warmed up this weekend and the bass were in panic mode fattening up for winter. I caught 2 - 4’s, 1 - 3, 2 - 2’s and a smaller one (6 total), all on the red craw lipless. #515

Weather is getting nippy and the largie’s are slowing down. Guess I will have to switch over to blue gill and crappies. Fishing doesn’t stop because of weather! Let’s go! #509

The good old watermelon yum dinger comes through for me again, saving me from the skunk. It is likely my favorite lure, but certainly not the only one. Maybe it is just the most versatile lure, as it can be used throughout the year in a variety of situations. #498
