I intended to do some crappie fishing, but someone took all of my crappie lures and rooster tails out of my tacklebox. I managed to find one and lo and behold, I ended up hooking a big cat on it. I got him right to the boat and had my net right in front of it when my line snapped. I switch my rig to catch catfish, but only managed to get one. It was still a good day of fishing.

After losing my only rooster tails, I found one hanging in a tree. I was able to liberate it and put it to use. I caught several little crappies and a dinky bass, but only one keeper.
