1st ever bass went on the dock to grab my rod and tacklebox because i got absolutely skunked earlier, and 2nd cast in using a good size popper caught this guy, Happy national fishing/hunting day🤝

caught it with bacon 🤣 usually corn works we were fishing for catfish it was raining too.

caught this lil guy at the very last min before that dreadful "where are you" phone call lol. he looked alil sickly, never noticed a red spot on a LM before..anybody know what thats about if not normal?? used a Z Man TRD ned rig
