Found a little school

This fish smashed my bait right as it passed by a submerged picnic table in about 3 feet of murky water. The water was all roiled up because the carp were extremely active in the shallows and due to the wind. The curse has been lifted! This was my first bass in more than 18 months! Hopefully it's not my last!

Decided to take the yak to Stony Creek today and smacked another ditch pickle on the custom-made Wounded Shad. 👊
