Stony Creek Lake

Windy day, scattered showers & overcast. Caught off of some shallow water visible structure. He hit almost as soon as the lure hit the water. My first fish on a vibrating jig!

Caught my P.B. rock bass about 10 minutes before the rain started. 3" Yum Dinger rigged on a Mister Twister Keeper Hook, 1/8 ounce, on 10 lb. test Berkley Trilene XL 7 ft., 2 piece Lost Creek (?) spinning combo. Fishing from shore in about 2-3 feet of stained, weedy water.

Found a little school

This fish smashed my bait right as it passed by a submerged picnic table in about 3 feet of murky water. The water was all roiled up because the carp were extremely active in the shallows and due to the wind. The curse has been lifted! This was my first bass in more than 18 months! Hopefully it's not my last!
