This toothy slime dart caught me off guard as I was using light tackle. Nine times out of 10 they’ll break you off with 6lb. test, but I got a clean hook set and let him rip drag and tire out so I could boat him. Once I got the lip gripper on him he threw a temper tantrum and managed to take a chunk out of my ankle. Guess we’re even now. 😆
