Unnamed / Boulder Dr Pond

Pond has gotten very weedy with Eurasian milfoil and curlyleaf pondweed. Tough to fish with almost any artificial at this time. Most LMBs under 12" but got 9 in 2 hrs.

First catch of the season. Wanted to get some crappie on Berkeley chartreuse power bait, but only these guys bite. Any tips for crappie ?

Just a few hours to kill bt errands so keeping some gear in the truck paid off. Still, expected a better bite; had to work a bit for what did bite. 4 of 6 landed in 2 hours. Still better than not fishing.

Where I planned to go was conspicuously posted 'no fishing' (and bunch of other no's) so had to wing it. Little breezy but a great day to be out. LMBs caught on an inline spinner-swimbait combo I built. Worked great over and through vegetation with the split tail grub or ribbontail worm. Gonna build a few more.

Pond has gotten amazingly weed choked in just a yr. Tough to shore fish it. 3 dink LMB on a spinnerbait - one of the only lures that wouldn't snag up. How you all fish places like this?
