Slow morning on plastics but beat the skunk. Bluegills on beds all over and lots of "tap-taps" on everything I threw. Gotta love the heart they show. Geese flightless, wing feathers EVERYWHERE!

Small guy on my second or third cast of the senko but nothing after. Any tips for knowing when they’re biting and when to set the hook?

Couple of dinks on a spinnerbait this afternoon. Expected more, maybe the rain last night..... Tough angling with tons of curly-leaf pondweed all along the shoreline.
