Almost immediate hookup, Trying to get used to this scale in the dark is a bit awkward but a fun catch

Starting off with a little blue bait fish this time

Another bait fish, the gar have been robbing my hook like piranhas

PB Bowfin, what a fatty. Wish I had a scale for this one. Any ideas on how much this weighed? I caught one much smaller and my buddy had a scale and it was 8 lbs. This one was way bigger
