The daddy-daughter catch streak continues. Daughter caught a nice crappie and bluegill, and I picked up a couple of crappie on the spinner! Youngest daughter decided to play on the lakeshore instead of fishing tonight, which is all good! Don’t want to burn her out on fishing 😂

Kept the daddy-daughter fishing success streak alive. A nice mix of bluegills and green sunfish were landed. My youngest caught the most with 6 fish landed, but the next youngest caught the biggest bluegill of the evening. Not that it was a contest… right?

Third consecutive week of a successful daddy-daughter fishing session at the town pond. Daughter #4 caught her first crappie, and daughter #5 caught a couple of greenies! Meanwhile I picked up a couple of tiny bass on the spinner. Been working a lot lately. Hope to get out for some solid fishing soon.

Hadn’t fished in the past week, as I’ve been (ugh!) working like a normal person. Once again had a bit of time with two younger daughters while waiting to pick up another from cross country practice. They did all their own casting. The older of the two got into a groove, landing 5 or 6 sunfish. The youngest struggled with hooking one, but finally landed one before we had to go. I took some casts with the spinner and landed 3 small largemouths.
