Stanislaus River, South Fork

So the story goes like this: That swimming hole on the right looked really good to me. So I snuck up on the spot slowly. When I started casting into it I saw a small fry fish. So I targeted it, hooked it and as I was bringing it in another fish was chasing it, which was unexpected. So I thought, “well I know there is another one in there”. So I kept fishing that spot a few more casts. Took a selfie. Then hooked another, but bigger than the small fry. And again, another fish was chasing it around as I was bringing it in. So I tried again. 3 casts later I hooked that monster. He clearly owned that pool. I had to play him for a while in that faster deep water on the right. Then I guided it into the pool on the left to tired him out a bit more. Then was able to finally pull him into my net. It was pretty epic Tenkara fishing experience

Was wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of trout this is , i thought it was a brown but my pops says it is a trout mix ??

Knocked it dead this morning 1st trip to the river caught about 20 trout NO BULL!! released all but 1 throw him on the bbq tomorrow
