Taw River

Up River after an exhausting elongated day at work. Delayed and had quite literally 15 mins before the tide had began to push back in hard. Managed this grateful little beauty as reward for my long day. Let it back to fight another day 🤟🏼

The most gentle of plucks off the bottom up river. Challenging getting down to land it. A nice reward after seeing some bloody good bass but not getting them to take.

Early morning session up the river to see what was about. Managed this hungry fellow… proper hit the lure hard. Good sport

Just the one on this evening!! A lot of Mullet cruising about.

What a treat… early hours this morning. Plenty of activity with mullet all over the place. I was even mistaking some really big mullet for bass. Spotted a large dark figure moving more aggressively… cast over it, lost sight of it and then bang! Fish on! So very lucky as after this despite seeing other bass, I could not get them to take.

3x Bass landed. Lost 2!! 😅 lost two lures in the process. This beauty literally took from my feet and scrapped hard in the current. Wasn’t the most helpful when coming to measure her, flapping all over the place. A great fish and my 1st 70 of the year💪🏻
