Purchased a Thermacell to try as apparently mosquito meth runs through my veins. Hopped over to the Don nearby to test the worthiness of the product as I heard swarms lived there. I have to say, first impressions are good. Aside from getting bit twice as the device was still heating up, I did not see a single mosquito on me. The bit of white smoke was a bit unsettling at first but remembered that was normal. If you're interested, I would recommend going for the cheaper MR300 model, as the MR450 does not offer anything actually useful that is not on the MR300. As for the fishing, I casted a paddletail under the bridge, and almosy immediately got a hit by a rather lethargic but large fish. The lack of any struggle lead me to believe it a snag, and neglected to set the hook. I got 1 look at it before it spat the hook. On my trek back, further sightings confirmed it was a sucker. For some reason they're up here. I also hooked what I'm pretty sure was a round goby, but it popped off. Prob won't be back, smelled pretty gross lol

New species unlocked! This one is called Western Blacknose Dace. Never caught it before but it seems very common in this part of the creek.
