Just caught my first coho salmon!!! I was using a golden lipless crank bait and bank fishing when this beast smashed it. It peeled drag and jumped for about 7-9 minutes, then we landed it in our tiny net. Truly my fish of the summer!

My first salmon after five years of trying to catch one. I have been on more that 20 fishing trips for salmon in the past 5 year and this was the fourth time at this spot. finally got one🤣😅I released it, it was hooked on the fin plus it wasn’t too fresh.

Such strong fish they can fight for soo long when you think it's done they pull 20 feet of line ❤️💪
