Recent Catches At Marquart Lake

Got into a few little trout this afternoon on Marquart. 2 Brookies and a Bow to make it a multi-species day. Brookies had beautiful coloration, which made up for what they lacked in size. Casting a small chironomid about 6 inches under an indicator in the shallows was productive for me. Happy to be out catching, it’d been too long without any catches on the fly. Tight lines fam!!

My first fish in the new home region. Recently moved south to the town of Merritt to study Environmental Resource Technology. This was my second outing, my first being a morning spent creeking unsuccessfully, water being very low. Small Pennask strain ‘Bow but appetized my craving for a tug. Got him on the dry too which is always electric. Tight lines Fam!
