Recent Catches At Bow River

What an absolutely crazy first catch of the 2026 fishing season. I know I'm starting late, but better than never! After a horrible morning with no catches, this big momma decided to come out and play. I was going for trout, because you know, Bow River -- so the fight was long on my light rod with 8 lbs flouro. One and done kind of day, but hey, new PB Pike! What an insane catch. Thanks Calgary for having me 🫡 and please don't mind the jig setup, I was desperate 🙂↕️

A nice mountain white fish out of the bow. Was using a small spoon with a fly about 6 inches down.
