Conestoga, Pennsylvania

One managed to get this smaller in the kayak but lost several near it. Hooked a big one but he took me under a ledge that ripped the line. Fishing this section of the Conestoga is so interesting as the current changes every time the safe harbor dam opens some of the gates .

Had a wonderful day fishing the mouth of the Conestoga. Caught 4 and lost 2 more in 90 minutes of fishing. Caught 2 on top water lures. Fantastic sunrise topped off the morning.

Only manage to catch one today on a different section of the lower Conestoga.

Found this hellgramite when I was fishing

Caught 2 smallies on a short kayak trip on Conestoga near its mouth. Unfortunately hooked the one deep and he bleed a lot. Might not make it. Also saw adult bald eagle, red tails, and osprey.

Put some on the bank before work this morning 🙏
