White bass

Caught a handful of small white bass on the Trinity! Easy catching when they’re schooling on topwater!

Little white bass! We used him as cut bait but had no luck.🎣🎣🎣

Definitely didn’t throw a 1/4 oz on this rod lol. Tackle listed needs some work but close enough. This guy snapped my rod on the hook set.

Dinner

Found a school of white bass below a spillway on the Ohio and they were extremely tricky to hook. These fish were blowing up on baitfish by the hundreds every couple of minutes, and while I had tons of bites, I couldn’t keep them on the hook. Finally, I managed to land one and a little smallmouth as well. I also hooked a wiper on my a-rig that quickly bent my hook in half and got off.

Was only able to land one this morning

Atwood seems to be giving up the white bass. Wanted a fish ohio and got one
