A 10 hour fishing trip with just one fish to show, but I couldn’t be happier with this gorgeous Snakehead! Had some other action on a spook which is a rare occurrence for me, but I managed to hook a giant fish that broke me off within seconds. Caught an absolute beast of a snakehead today! This dragon came in at 10lbs 7oz, just one ounce shy of my personal best. I sight casted another big one right off the bat, but he came off after a short fight. These fish are completely taking over, and it seems like there isn’t a smallmouth in sight. In a couple years they are probably going to be the most commonly caught fish out of our rivers.
