Caloundra - Rail Corridor, Queensland

Fishing With Fih Yoinker , Arlocatchescatfish 183 today and a few other mates, I caught this monster speckled eel. It came in at 90cm long. It was really heavy and it was a massive fight on my 6lb braid and 10lb leader. The fight consisted of the reel swimming in and out of sticks, and after many lip gripping attempts, I finally got the eel in the lip grips. I sight casted the eel and I saw it took my live gudgeon. Super fun and a great way to test out my new combo!
