Was very happy about this beautiful eel probably one of first eels that were logged in Aboyne loch thought they didn’t have em until this one showed up!

Daytime Surprise: A Wriggly Eel to Start the Day! 🪱🐍☀️ First fish of the session and it’s a total surprise—an Eel right in broad daylight! On this river, I almost exclusively catch them under the cover of night, so seeing one hit the bait during the day was an awesome twist. He was estimated at around 40 cm, maybe a bit more. But as every angler knows, getting a straight measurement is practically impossible—they won't stay still on the unhooking mat for even a single second! Väčšinu z nich na tejto rieke chytám výhradne v noci, takže denný záber ma neskutočne potešil. Mal odhadom tak 40 cm, možná aj trochu viac... ale veď to sami dobre poznáte, na podložke nevydrží rovno ležať ani sekundu a vlní sa ako živé striebro!
