Got my buddy Ian on the boat for the first time, caught a few nice perch and had a nice smallie jump about 4 feet out the water to shake my hook. Does anyone know about the weird spots on the first perch? And me and Grannie caught some bass.

PB brown trout out of Wisconsin shortly after opener. Released safely and shortly after 15second video. exact measuments are 18.5” but it insisted on putting 1.5ft. Caught on a small kastmaster spoon.
