Camp Lake

Went back to camp the following day and was able to one up yesterdays catch. This was came in at 36.5”! These are monsters out of that lake.

What’s up yall? Man it’s been a while since I’ve been on here. Just adulting way too much and no fun! Anyways I started fishing a lot more this summer just wasn’t posting much. Made a trip@out to camp and was able to land this beast out of there. 34”! Caught on a white swim jig of course!

Was able to get out today after work(6am), so there are some perks to night shift! ##made my way to camp. The bite was on from my 3rd cast. Caught a total of 12 I think and lost countless more and tons of bites! Everything was on my trusty ole white swimjig!

Took my girlfriends son out today for his first time on a boat. Ended up taking him to Camp. My goal was to get him his first pike and bass. Unfortunately he didn’t get anything. I managed to catch 8 bass and 1 pike! All were caught on my good ole white swim jig, but 1. One was caught on a green pumpkin

40° on Camp Lake yesterday morning, but a beautiful day to get out on the water with my son. Caught these 5; son caught 6. Vegetation definitely dying off, making weed fishing easier, but more challenging to find fish. Crankbaits on ledges and deeper areas were non-productive. Baby Bass dingers was the lure of the day.

Couple mid-day catches out of the lily pads and reeds. Also sporting my new Shady Rays (thanks, Brian Wetter!), and, boy, do they work great!!

#2 son in town for the weekend, so I took him out to Camp Lake. We got 4 in total, all north of 1lb. Son hooked a couple more that didnt make it to the boat.
